Eleanor “E.J.” (McDowell) Sahli, 93, of Gibsonia passed away Monday.

She was the beloved wife of the late Oscar W. Sahli; the loving mother of Diane E. (late Joseph) Sondej of Tallmadge, Ohio, Bruce J. (Susan) Sahli of Middlesex Township and the late Donna J. (late Dennis) Ross; the sister of Marion E. Henry; the cherished grandmother of Jeffrey (Stephanie) Sondej, Lisa Sondej, Michael (Colleen) Sahli, Kristy (Tyler) Aiken, Dan (Hilary) Sahli and Meagan Ross; and the great-grandmother of Samuel Sondej, Ella and Vohn Sahli, Kylie, Craig and Caleb Aiken, and Lauren Sahli.

Eleanor enjoyed bowling and playing cards, belonging to several card clubs over the years, and most of all being a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed.

SAHLI — The family of Eleanor “E.J.” (McDowell) Sahli, who died Monday, April 6, 2015, will welcome friends from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Schellhaas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown.Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown with the Rev.
