Highway 4 Band releases new album, performs Friday at BLT
With a style described as “classic rock with 21st century muscle,” Butler band Highway 4 released its album “Up in Arms” in June.
The group's second outing contains 12 tracks, including “One of These Days,” “You Can Find Me Here,” “Day by Day,” “Somewhere Caught” and “Where's Your Faith.”
The eight-song first CD called “Rock 'n' Roll Lives” came out in 2012.
The band consists of Kelly Brown on vocals, Graham Huselton on drums, Tylar Parker on bass, and Mike Angert on lead guitar.
Highway 4 will perform along with singer/songwriter Shane Alexander, a former Butler resident who now lives in Los Angeles, at 7 p.m. Friday at the Butler Little Theatre, One Howard St.
Alexander, with many albums to his name, has been compared to Jackson Browne and Art Garfunkel.
Representatives of Reclamation Brewing, a business that is trying to get up and running on Main Street, will be on hand with some craft brews Friday evening.
Tickets are $20 at the door.
Doors open at 6 p.m.
