One year passed since the day that you died.

We remember everything about you,

Your voice, your smile, your touch.

The way you walked, the way you talked,

The way you looked at us.

We remember all the words you said,

Some funny, some kind, some wise and

All the things you did for us.

We see now with different eyes.

You are gone from us now, but one thing

That can’t be taken away is your memory that resides inside our hearts and lights up our darkest days
