Free Outdoor Discovery programs, hosted by the Butler County Parks and Recreation Department, take place Thursdays at Alameda Park. Today’s program is AL Mazing Magic. Jennings Environmental Education Center, Route 528, Brady Township, will host EYE Con Summer Science Camp from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Aug. 3 to 7; registration is required. McConnells Mill State Park, Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County, off Route 422, has the gristmill open through the end of September from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays.
