ZELIENOPLE — Five graduating Seneca Valley High School seniors with a passion for community service will get a little extra help paying for their post-secondary education.

The Zelienople Rotary Club recently awarded its annual scholarships. A sixth scholarship is also provided to a graduating senior who demonstrates a strong interest in journalism.

All scholarships are worth $1,500.

This year’s recipients are: Hollen Alexa Davinsizer, Amber Lynne Gorog, Thomas D. George, Brock Daniel Gresock, Kaileen Elizabeth Ryan and Chloe Ross Ruffennach.

Amber, Thomas and Brock are the three recipients of the Rotary scholarships, given for displaying a spirit of community volunteerism.

All six recipients will be honored at the Zelienople Fourth of July Parade and at a Rotary event in July.
