Geraldine Marie (Alberti) Heade, 87, Butler, passed away July 24, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Angelo and Anna Alberti; sister, Shirley Hertz; husband, Edward W. Heade; and son, Bruce E. Heade.

Geraldine is survived by her son, Gregg Heade of Butler; daughters, Norma (Michael) Wehby of Modesto, Calif., and Pamela (Kirby) Stevenson of Butler; grandchildren, Nicole (Christy) Grottenthaler of Slippery Rock, Ryan (Shannon) Stevenson of Butler, Courtney (Joseph) McHugh of Lakewood, Ohio, Ian Wehby of South Lake Tahoe, Calif., Anna Heade of Butler, and Luke Heade of Butler; and seven great-grandchildren.

Gerry was a woman of faith, covering her family daily in prayer over her morning cup of coffee. She enjoyed baking, sewing and playing cards.

Gerry was a lifelong Steelers fan, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren. They could always count on her to be there watching as they played sports. She will be greatly missed.

HEADE — A visitation for Geraldine Marie (Alberti) Heade, who died Sunday, July 24, 2022, will be held from 8:30 until 10 a.m. Friday at GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday at All Saints Parish, St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 127 Franklin St., Butler.

Interment will follow in St. Peter’s Parish Cemetery.

Following the procession and committal services, friends and family are invited to a reception at St. Peter’s Parish hall.
