Ben Valasek and the Growlers, who play concerts in the Butler and Kittanning areas, recently released the CD “Time Waits for No One.”

The nine tracks were all written by Valasek and produced by the band, whose members are Valasek of West Kittanning on lead vocals and guitar, Mike Starr of Kittanning on drums, Ron Leard of Kittanning on bass guitar, and Zach Wolfe of For City on guitar.

The entire album was recorded, other than a few additional instrumentals, at a hunting camp over the course of three days late last year.

The CD is available as a whole or as individual tracks through major retailers.

Valasek previously recorded a solo album called “Under the Peach Tree.”

The band will have a free show as the opening act for Gaelic Storm on June 22 at Arts on the Allegheny in Kittanning.
