Brother David Souzer, SDS, 82, of Milwaukee, Wis., died Saturday.

Born Michael Joseph Souzer on Jan. 25, 1931, in Butler, he was a son of Michael and Mary Rose (Krasovec) Souzer.

He joined the Society of the Divine Savior (Salvatorians) on June 29, 1961, and received his religious name “David.” He ministered as a maintenance engineer in Salvatorian schools in Maryland, New Jersey, Indiana, Arizona, and Alabama. He moved to Alexian Village, Milwaukee, in 2011.

He is survived by his sister, Carol (Mrs. Michael) Jackson of Timonium, Md., and his brothers and sisters in the Salvatorian family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Charles.

SOUZER — Services were held for Brother David Souzer, SDS, who died Saturday, June 8, 2013. Burial was in Salvatorian Cemetery, St. Nazianz, Wis.Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Schramka Funeral Home, Milwaukee, Wis.
