Marjorie Ann Desmond, 80, of Grove City, formerly of Butler, passed away at 4:15 a.m. Saturday at the Trinity Living Center in Grove City.

She was born Dec. 4, 1935, in Butler to Bernard Desmond and Mary Delzell Desmond. She retired in 1997 from Penn Champ in East Butler, where she worked for over 32 years.

She enjoyed music, dancing and was an avid fan of Elvis Presley.

She is survived by her son, Carmen and his wife, Jackie, of Butler; two brothers, Richard and his wife, Joyce Desmond, of Butler and Daniel Desmond of Tampa, Fla.; her grandson, Josh Desmond; two stepgrandsons, Nick and Kelley; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Bernard, and her mother, Mary Desmond Meals.

DESMOND — The family of Marjorie Ann Desmond, who died Saturday, Dec. 12, 2015, will receive friends from 4 p.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m. today at the Smith Funeral Home, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock.Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home with the Rev. James Lewis of Butler presiding. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Butler.
