FOXBURG In the tradition of a 1950s or 1960s coffeehouse, Allegheny RiverStone Center for the Arts hosts Clarion University poet Philip Terman and members of the jazz band Catro for an afternoon of verse and notes beginning at 2 p.m. Sunday at Lincoln Hall, 42 S. Palmer St.

Terman, author of six books of poetry, will perform his poetry with members of Catro, led by Mark DeWalt on piano, Carlos Cintron on conga drums and percussion, and David Kana on sax.

Terman’s works include “The House of Sages,” “Book of the Unbroken Days,” “Rabbis of the Air” and “The Torah Garden.” His poems have appeared in numerous journals and anthologies. He’s the co-director of the Chautauqua Writers Festival and teaches creative writing at Clarion.

Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students and are available at the door.
