Chad Schryvers was promoted to the rank of specialist in the U.S. Army Reserve.Schryvers, a combat engineer, is deployed to Iraq. He is regularly a member of the 926th Engineer Brigade based in Montgomery, Ala. The specialist has served in the military for more than two years.In his civilian occupation, the reservist is a subcontractor employed at N.D. and M. Contractors, Titus, Ala.He is the son of Clifford Schryvers of Lyndora.
