Barbara E. Thomas

Barbara E. Thomas, 65, of Butler passed away Thursday at her home.

She was born July 10, 1950, in Butler, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Vinnett (Smyers) Reamer.

Barbara loved spending time with her grandchildren and baking with her great-granddaughter. She had worked at Bon Ton as a sales associate for 20 years.

Surviving are one daughter, Stacey (Mark) Bowser of Butler; two granddaughters, Alexis and Chloe Bowser; one great-granddaughter, Layla Bowser; three sisters, Shirley Lippold of Austintown, Ohio, Pat (Mark) Olesnevich of Saxonburg and her twin, Bev (John) Stephenson of Butler; one brother, Charles (Jan) Reamer of Butler; two sisters-in-law, Jean (John) Kurtz of Apollo and Robin (Larry) Hildebrand of Slippery Rock; one brother-in-law, Jack (Kathy) Thomas of Chicora; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

THOMAS — Friends of Barbara E. Thomas, who died Thursday, March 3, 2016, will be received at the Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.Funeral services will be at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. David Fisher of Homeacre Chapel officiating.
