Lillian Jane "Betsy" Cricks, 84, of Slippery Rock passed away Sunday at Slippery Rock Personal Care Home.

She was born Feb. 27, 1926, in Butler, the daughter of the late John Chambers and Anna (Houston) Chambers.

Lillian was a member of New Testament Baptist Church, where she was very active and was a Sunday school teacher for several years.

She enjoyed bowling and spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving are two sons, David Cricks of Butler and John Cricks of South Carolina; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jess Cricks; a brother; and a sister.

<B>CRICKS</B> — Friends of Lillian Jane "Betsy" Cricks, who died Sunday, Aug. 15, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at <B>Young Funeral Home Ltd.</B>, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Steve Fisher officiating.
