Clarence L. 'Sonny' Cricks
Clarence L. “Sonny” Cricks, 81, of Middlesex Township passed away Saturday while under the care of the VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler.
Sonny was born July 16, 1932, in Pittsburgh. He was the son of the late Clarence W. and Beatrice (Skinner) Cricks.
Sonny was a member of the West View Sportsman Club and the Mars VFW. He was an avid outdoors man who enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his daughter, Jacquie (Don) Edinger of Valencia; son, Keith Cricks of Tallahassee, Fla.; daughter, Laurie Wiedor of Jacksonville, Fla.; son, Jeffrey Cricks of Tallahassee, Fla.; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. His cousins, Ed (Krista) Kuhl and Eleanor (Dave) Hackett, also survive.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Cricks, and his long time companion, Virginia Burgess.
CRICKS — The family of Clarence L. “Sonny” Cricks, who passed away Saturday, July 20, 2013, will welcome friends from noon to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the King Funeral Home, 2841 Woodland Circle in Allison Park.
A funeral service will be at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest at the Old Union United Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Mars.
If desired, memorial donations may be made in his honor in support of the VNA Inpatient Hospice, 115 Technology Drive, Butler, PA 16001.
