Earl Thomas Righi Jr.
I recently attended the service for the burial, February 20, 2010, of my previous husband, Earl Thomas Righi Jr., at the Lutheran Church in Saxonburg, Pennsylvania.
This is MY abbreviated Memoriam to my dear late first husband and fellow Penn State graduate, from our alma mater the Pennsylvania State University, where we first met: I love you dear husband and sweet father of our three precious children as well as grandfather to our dear little grandson. You have been a good husband, partner, helpmate, lover, best friend, friend and relative to me, my friends and relatives. I forgive you for any mistakes we made during and at the end of our time together as husband and wife. I forgive myself as well for the same reasons by the power of the love of Jesus Christ, who died for all the sins of mankind, past, present and future. I do love you, Tom Righi, in my own way and always will. Our dear children, son and daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, parents, siblings, their families, grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, neighbors, relatives, those alien to us, those whom we will know in the future all love you dearly Tom.
Thanks for all the simple to fantastic memories of our times spent together on this beautiful earth of ours. I hope you will forgive all the transgressions against you. Until we all meet again with Jesus, his Mother Mary, all the saints and angels, God the Father and the Holy Spirit and all of Creation in Heaven for Eternity. We rejoice in the beauty of your life on this Earth God created for us! I am so grateful to have had you as a husband, friend, sweet lover, co-parent to our children, grandfather to Sorin and all of our wonderful grandchildren to come, brother-in-law to my sweet and special brothers and sisters, uncle by marriage to my nieces and nephews through my mom and dads, Protector, Provider and Partner for 27 happy and bittersweet years and close relationship for 30 years of yours and my lives. We would have been married 36 years on October 27, 2009 had we still been husband and wife. God bless you sweet companion on this earth. My love and best wishes go to you on your adventures in Paradise. There are many, many sweet and bittersweet memories of our times together. I put your soul into God's hands. I release you Tom. My love goes with you. Please remember the good times as well my sweet first love.
P.S. I am released as well as a Happy Bird flying to freedom now! Thank you so much for finally releasing my Spirit Tom! I love you for your generous heart.
