Robert W. “Bob” Cole
Robert W. “Bob” Cole, 73, of Franklin Township passed away on Wednesday while under the care of the VNA Inpatient Hospice.
Born July 29, 1944, in New Brighton, he was the son of the late George Yerger and Dorothy McCreedy Cole Yerger.
Bob proudly served our country in the U.S. Air Force from 1966 until 1970.
He worked for Air Turbine Propeller Co. in Zelienople. He then was employed for 28 years with the Butler Housing Authority.
He enjoyed working out, walking, gardening and doing yard work. He will be dearly missed.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Linda Hare Cole, whom he married June 3, 1966; his children, Dennis R. Cole and Connie, of Fombell, and Amy Brewer and Ryan, of New Brighton; his grandson, Landon Brewer; his brother, Harry Cole of Connoquenessing; and his nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Carol and James Richard; and his sister-in-law, Paula Cole.
COLE — Friends of Robert W. “Bob” Cole, who died Wednesday, March 21, 2018, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.A funeral ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev.
