Patricia J. (Lamperski) Nelson

Patricia J. (Lamperski) Nelson, born March 16, 1958, went to be with the Lord on Oct. 5.

Patti is the daughter of the late Raymond Lamperski and Alberta (Wagner) Lamperski.

She is survived by her loving husband, James, and two spectacular children, Daniel A.R. Nelson and Cassandra L. Nelson.

She also is survived by her brothers, David Lamperski and Gary (Chris) Lamperski; her sister, Lynn (Davis) Schmidt; her nephews, nieces, cousins and countless friends.

Patti's courageous battle with cancer has ended and she now is resting in peace.

Her ultimate passion in life was her family, along with being a professional volunteer. She loved volunteering her time and was a part of the following organizations: the Evans City Library, EDCO Park, the Carnegie Museum, the Caring Quilts of St. Kilian, the Quilters of St. Johns, the Evans City Community Food Cupboard and the Highmark Caring Place, and she was a founding partner of the Nelson Charitable Foundation.

NELSON — The family of Patricia J. (Lamperski) Nelson, who died Monday, Oct. 5, 2015, will accept visitors at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Kilian Parish, 205 Clark St., Mars.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church with a graveside service to follow at the Our Savior Cemetery in Gibsonia.A celebration of Patti's life will follow from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday with lunch served at 12:30 p.m. at the Carlton Restaurant, 500 Grant St., BNY Mellon Center, Pittsburgh.In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that donations be made to the Patti Nelson Foundation FBO, the Evans City Library, 200 S.
