David R. Lamperski
David R. Lamperski, 66, of Forward Township passed away Friday in the comfort of his home.
Born June 21, 1950, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Raymond and Alberta Wagner Lamperski.
Dave spent his young adulthood traveling the world and learned to speak several different languages.
When he returned home to Pennsylvania, he started Lamperski Greenhouse, which he owned and operated for many years. He also was a supervisor for Forward Township for almost 25 years, actively serving on several boards and committees. Dave also was chairman of the Butler County Conservation District, cofounder of the Connoquenessing Creek Watershed Committee, citizen adviser for XTO Gas Co. and a volunteer for two years in the Peace Corps.
He is survived by his brother, Gary Lamperski and his wife, Christine; his sister, Lynn Schmidt; his brother-in-law, Jim Nelson; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Dave was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Nelson.
