The inaugural Butler Hy-Flyers Parents Boosters Club of the Butler Gymnastics Club will hold a golf scramble at 2:30 p.m. May 21 at Strawberry Ridge Golf Course in Harmony.
Cost is $85 and includes golf, cart, lunch and awards dinner. Teams and individuals are accepted for the shotgun start format. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three foursomes as well as skill prizes for six men and six women.

John Aubrey of Aubrey's Dubbs Dred Golf Course carded a 35-36-71 recently to finish second in a Tri-State PGA Match Play Qualifier recently at the Youghiogheny Country Club in McKeesport.Brad Westfall of Tygart Lake Golf Course finished first with a 34-35-69.In the Match Play event, Sean Farren of Totteridge Golf Club defeated John Mazza of Montour Heights Country Club in the finals.
The Western Pennsylvania Golf Association out-pointed the Northern Ohio Golf Association 39½-14½ during their Interstate Challenge Cup matches recently at Avalon Lakes Golf Course in Warren, Ohio.Jon Pratkanis of Butler teamed with Chip Zimmerman to post one of three WPGA four-ball match victories during the competition. Senior four-ball, individual and senior individual matches were also held.
Robert Meyer and Larry Trotter combined to shoot a 73-72-145 Wednesday to win the second annual WPGA Fred Brand Century Foursomes at Allegheny Country Club.Paul Schlachter and William Kunsman finished second with a 147.
Tom Bandura of Butler scored a hole-in-one during a recent golf outing on the Grand Strand in Myrtle Beravh, S.C., Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday reported.Bandura used a wedge on the 110-yard, par-3, No. 12 hole at King's North at Myrtle Beach National.Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday is a non-profit trade association of 68 accommodations and 99 championship golf courses in the Myrtle Beach, S.C., area.
