Charles C. Roberts III
Charles C. Roberts III, 85, of Zelienople, formerly of Wexford, passed away Tuesday at the Passavant Retirement Community.
Born on Aug. 27, 1929, in Columbus, Ohio, he was the son of the late Charles C. Roberts II and Marie Fogarty Roberts.
Charles received his master’s degree in chemistry from the Carnegie Institute of Technology and retired from his career as a chemist at MSA.
A loyal Pittsburgh sports fan, he enjoyed classical music, golfing, reading, photography and drinking whiskey sours. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his two daughters, Carolyn Wincer and her husband, Brian, of Renfrew and Chrissy Stelts and her husband, Russell, of Zelienople, and his three grandchildren, Brenna, Cameron and Cole Wincer.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Kush Roberts.
