Shirley Long

Shirley F. Long, 82, of Penn Hills passed away Friday.

She was the beloved wife of the late Donald S. Long; loving mother of LaVonne L. (Joe Rothrauff) Long of Penn Hills and Dawn (Stu) Surkosky of Butler; dear grandmother of Joseph Rothrauff, Joshua, Jacob, and Jordan Surkosky; sister of the late Richard and Lois Kemmler, and Chuck and Esther Johns, and sister-in-law of Amelia Johns.

Long — The friends and relatives of Shirley F. Long, who passed away Friday, Nov. 7, 2014, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME, 421 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont.Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Restland Memorial Park, Monroeville.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Shirley's name to the Rosedale United Methodist Church, 798 Herron Ave., Verona, PA 15147.
