Penn Township Volunteer Fire Department will hold its 21st Mega Cruise from 2 to 10 p.m. Saturday at the Pittsburgh-Butler Regional Airport, 475 Airport Road in Penn Township.

More than 1,000 show cars, motorcycles, trucks, tractors and airplanes are expected to be at the event.

Kent Shoemaker, VFD vice president, said attendees might even glimpse aviation icon Beach City Baby, which is being transferred from Franklin.

The admission donation of $2 will benefit the Penn Township VFD and help with event costs, but cruise cars get in free.

Other activities at the Mega Cruise include food vendors, beverages, music, karaoke, 50/50 raffles and a Chinese auction. Fireworks will start at 9:50 p.m.

DJ Phil Lenz of Pittsburgh will provide the all-day musical entertainment.

Hardwood on the Rocks, The Turner Team and Diehl are sponsoring the event.

For more information, call Shoemaker at 724-766-5847 or visit the Penn Township VFD Facebook page.
