Karl Pastorius
Karl J. Pastorius, 41, of Meadville, formerly of Lyndora, passed away Thursday, May 6, 2021, at his residence.
He was born March 7, 1980, in Butler, the son of the late Kenneth Paul Pastorius and Margaret (Habil) Pastorius of Lyndora.
Karl was a 1998 graduate of Butler High School where he was a star athlete in football and baseball. After high school, he attended IUP. Karl was a Renaissance man who loved cooking, playing the guitar, drawing and reading. He was a man who loved the fine arts and sports, especially college football. He loved his nieces and nephew. Karl was well-liked and will be missed by all who knew him.
Surviving are his mother, Margaret Pastorius of Lyndora; two sisters, DeAnn Pastorius of Butler and Janis (Tim) Woessner of Grove City; his nieces and nephew, Maci, Carlee and Samuel Woessner; his grandmother, Shirley Pastorius of Butler, and several aunts and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Paul Pastorius who passed away Aug. 10, 2004.
