McLachlan

Robert J. McLachlan, 67, of Curwensville, a son of the late William H. and Catherine (Moore) McLachlan, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2022, surrounded by his family.

He was born on May 25, 1955, in Natrona Heights, and was raised in Sarver.

Bob was a 1973 graduate of Freeport High School and a 1977 graduate of Penn State University, earning a bachelor of science degree.

He worked for the USDA for many years, and moved to Clearfield County in 1980. He then worked for Pennsylvania American Water Authority until retiring in 2013.

He loved everything that involved nature and the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He shared this love with his sons and grandchildren, which was his greatest joy.

He is survived by his sons, Jeremiah and wife Ashley of DuBois, and Ethan and wife Blair of Osceola Mills; his grandson, Everette; granddaughter, Courtney; one sister, Catherine Boggs and husband Larry of West Sunbury; and a sister-in-law, Virginia McLachlan of Leechburg.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, William P. and Thomas J. McLachlan.

MCLACHLAN — Friends of Robert J. McLachlan, who died Saturday, July 9, 2022, will be received from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 23, 2022, at BEARDSLEY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, Curwensville.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 23, 2022, at the funeral home.
