Isabel Marie Mendicino
Isabel Marie Mendicino, 70, of Butler passed away Wednesday morning at VNA Inpatient Hospice, Butler.
Born in Butler on Nov. 15, 1943, she was the daughter of the late John and Josephine Weber Kropf.
Isabel was employed for many years as a nurse's aide at Butler Memorial Hospital.
She was a member of the Saint Paul Roman Catholic Church, Butler.
Isabel, along with her best friend Betty Furka, actively volunteered in the local pro-life movement.
She is survived by her son, John W. Mendicino and his wife, Lori, of Butler; her brother, Ernest Kropf and his wife, Mercedes, of Butler; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two sisters, Helen Achezinski and Josie Shinsky.
