It isn’t yet a month Dad, since you passed away

And everyday we think of you in such a special way.

Today it is your birthday, a day we always shared,

A special day for you alone to show how much we cared.

But this year there’ll be no cake, no gifts, no gathering together,

No birthday kiss, no warm embrace, those things can’t last forever.

But what you’ll always have, dad, is the love within our hearts,

That special love that’s just for you and which death can never part.
