CONNOQUENESSING — The “Junk from Your Trunk Sale” will be from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. July 7 in the parking lot of Connoquenessing United Methodist Church, 206 Main St.

There will be refreshments served and a bake sale.

Community flea market plannedEAST BUTLER — There will be a community flea market from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 29 and 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 30 at the East Butler Fire Hall.Tables are available by calling Amanda Fennell at 724-712-9506 or Mimi Augustine at 412-760-0199.The market is sponsored by the East Butler Ladies Auxiliary.

Library holds book sale, raffleEVANS CITY — The Evans City Library, 204 S. Jackson St., is running a book sale now through July 3.Buyers can stop in at the library and fill up a bag with books from the library’s used book room.The library also has a raffle for a Color Nook. Raffle tickets are available at the library.

Sing Hosanna! offers workshopsPENN TWP — Sing Hosanna! will host Camp Creatamusical and an inaugural Theater Technique Workshop.The camp will be from 8:30 a.m. to noon July 16 to 21 at Stewart Hall, 310 W. Airport Road, for youths ages 7 to 18. Basic acting, dancing, singing and scenic painting techniques will be taught, all while creating an original play and musical lyrics.The workshop will be for adults and highly motivated teenagers and will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. Aug. 21 to 23 at Stewart Hall. Read-a-thon will benefit VOICeCRANBERRY TWP — The Cranberry Public Library will sponsor a teen read-a-thon to benefit VOICe of Butler County from noon to 4 p.m. July 13.Teens may come to the library and read for as long as they like.For every page read by a teen during this time, money will be donated by sponsors to VOICe of Butler County.
