George Keck
George Louis Keck, 83, of Butler passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at his home.
Born Dec. 28, 1938, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Elmer J. Keck and Loretta E. Bachman Keck.
George was a dairy farmer. He also worked for St. Luke Lutheran Church and Mine Safety as a janitor and Marburger Dairy and Wooden Things. He was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church, Cabot, and the Blazing Blades Scroll Saw Club of Western Pennsylvania. George enjoyed using his scroll saw, and was also the drummer for Harry Kelly Square Dance Band.
Surviving are his loving children, Duane (Chrisse) Keck of Cabot, Marlin (Nancy) Keck of Butler, Gordon (Patti) Keck of Connoquenessing, and Nadine Keck of Butler; three grandchildren, David (Christa) Keck of Butler, Nicole (Rich) Messenger of Saxonburg, and Elizabeth (Josh) Rosensteel of Cabot; and seven great-grandchildren, Noah Rosensteel, Jacob Messenger, Domanic Keck, , Isabella Messenger, Makenzie Rosensteel, Tate Keck and Easton Rosensteel.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Darlene Keck; and a brother, James Keck.
KECK — Friends of George Louis Keck, who died Tuesday, July 5, 2022, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at FOX FUNERAL HOME, 410 W. Main Street, Saxonburg.
Additional visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 330 Hannahstown Road, Cabot.
A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Jared Townley and the Rev. Ben Berteau officiating.
Interment will follow in St. Luke Cemetery.
