David Krumpe
David A. “Dave” Krumpe, 84, of Butler, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2022, at his residence.
Born Oct, 22, 1937, in North Bessemer, Pa., he was the son of the late Joseph P. Krumpe and Edith A. (Carsey) Krumpe.
Dave was a graduate of Winfield-Clinton High School. After graduation, he proudly served his country in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged in 1963. Dave worked as coal miner at the Newfield Mine and was a self-employed welder for a number of years before retiring in 1999. He was also a member of the Northern Masonic Temple.
Dave is survived by his wife, Denise (DiGiacomo) Krumpe, whom he married on May 22, 2017; twin sons: David of Sarver, and Mark and his wife, Linda, of New Castle; three daughters, Beth of North Carolina, Lisa of Cabot and Dawn of Sarver; two stepchildren, Adrian and his wife, Nikki, of Morgantown, W.Va., and Kelly of San Diego, Calif.; his sister, Rose Marie of Florida; and 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Dave was preceded in death by his brother, Ken Krumpe.
