Boyd L. Brown, 82, of Navarre, Ohio, passed away Sunday at his home with his wife, Charlotte, by his side.

Boyd was born near West Sunbury on June 17, 1935. He was the son of the late Ralph and Mildred Brown.

He retired from Fleming Foods following 30 years of service.

Boyd was a member of Old Lutheran Apostolic Church of Farmington Hills, Mich.

Boyd is survived by his wife, Charlotte G. (Mackey) Brown; four children, Patti Bussinger of Florida, Sally (Barry) Martin of Colorado, George Brown of North Carolina and Daniel (Loretta) Brown of Navarre, Ohio; six grandchildren; one great-grandson; a sister, Sylvia Webb of Butler; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Lukavich; his brothers, Ralph Jr., Donald, Dale, William and Elgie, who was MIA in the Korean War; and a son-in-law, Jerry Bussinger.

BROWN — Friends of Boyd L. Brown, who died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2017, may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday or from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the Spidell Funeral Home in Brewster, Ohio. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with William Scheffler, officiating.Burial will follow in the Welty Cemetery.
