Melanie Dunkle
Melanie Eileen Dunkle, 67, of the Clarview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at Sligo, formerly of Parker, passed away at 3:05 a.m. Tuesday at Clarion Hospital.
Born Dec. 7, 1948, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Elmer Benton and Helen Miles Dunkle.
A Protestant, she was a member of the former Church of God in Parker.
A member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Parker City Volunteer Fire Department, she had served as custodian of the fire hall as well as the Parker Post Office.
Surviving are her son, Ronald Lee Dunkle of Parker; six grandchildren, Britta, Bill, Brandon, Ronnie, Stephanie and Melissa Dunkle; her sister and her husband, Icel and Mike Stennett of Kittanning; her brother and his wife, William and Debbie Dunkle of Harrisville; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Nellie Dunkle Anderson.

Wayne Ave., Parker, where funeral services will be at 8 p.m. Thursday.The Rev. Eric Mitchell, pastor of the Park Hill Church of God, will officiate.
