Florence D. “Flo” Harris Robinson, 90, of Central Avenue, Chicora, passed away Sunday morning at the VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler.

Florence was born in Fairmont, W.Va., on June 7, 1926, the daughter of the late Harry and Viola Appel Dillow.

Florence was a longtime member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Chicora.

In her earlier years, she had been employed by Gaisford's Pharmacy in Chicora.

Flo was an accomplished seamstress.

She enjoyed playing bingo, baking, crafts and knitting, and was a member of the Thread Brigade Quilting Group at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.

She was married in Fairmont, W.Va., on June 10, 1945, to Paul Harris. He preceded her in death on March 26, 1980.

Florence is survived by her husband, Stewart H. Robinson, who she married in Chicora on Nov. 3, 1984. Also surviving are a daughter, Violet Dunmyre and her husband, Richard, of Butler; three sons, Paul Harris II and his wife, Sue, of Boise, Idaho, Raymond Dale Harris and his wife, Joan, of Butler, and Timothy Harris and his wife, Carolyn, of Houston, Texas; three stepchildren, Beverly Moore and her husband, Don, of Chicora, Diana Bowman and her husband, Dave, of Butler, and Ronald Robinson of Chicora; five grandchildren, Jon Harris, Cathy Harris Brinkman, Will Harris, Allison Dunmyre Broz and Andrea Dunmyre; two great-granddaughters, Paige and Abby; and a number of step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and first husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Karen Harris, one sister and five brothers.

ROBINSON — Friends of Florence D. “Flo” Harris Robinson, who died Sunday, June 26, 2016, will be received at the HILE FUNERAL HOME of Chicora, 339 Chicora Fenelton Road, Chicora, from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 2217 Chicora Road, Chicora, where a funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. with the Rev.
