Leyula D. Hedrick

Leyula D. (Osborne) Hedrick, 81, of Prospect went to be with the Lord on Saturday. She passed peacefully at home surrounded by her children and loved ones.

She was born Nov. 6, 1933, in Butler to Lee R. and Bertha Osborne.

Mrs. Hedrick was a devoted mother and homemaker who enjoyed traveling, playing cards, camping, fishing, archery, crafts and spending time with family and friends. She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church.

She is survived by her children, Sheri and Terrance Black of New Castle, Glenn and Tracy Hedrick of New Castle, Valerie Popovich of New Castle, Marsha Weatherford of McBee, S.C., and Shawn and Jenell Hedrick of Concord Township, Ohio.

Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hedrick was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Hedrick Jr., and her sister, Betty Twentier.

HEDRICK — There will be no funeral services for Leyula D. (Osborne) Hedrick, who died Saturday, July 25, 2015.Mrs. Hedrick's body was donated to the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine for science.
