Carl Stewart Sayti, 69, of Evans City, passed away on Monday, June 27, 2022, while under the care of Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Dec. 12, 1952, in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Charles and Helen Barton Sayti.

Carl proudly served our country in the U.S. Army in the 82nd Airborne Division.

He was an active member of both the VFW in Evans City and the Unionville American Legion.

Carl enjoyed hunting and fishing with friends at the Zelienople Sportsmen’s Club. Most of all, he loved spending time with friends “spilling beer and swearing a lot.” He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.

Carl leaves behind to cherish his memory his children, Carl J. (Danielle) Sayti, Alex Sayti, Cory (Ben) Hardic and Jordan (Fae) Jones; his brothers, Charles (Peggy) Sayti and Bryan Sayti; his twin sister, Caroline Nicodemus; his grandchildren, Audrey, Henry and Matthew Hardic, Sterling Sayti and Wyatt Combs; his former spouse, Tina Dapper Sayti; numerous nieces and nephews; and his dear friends, Kent McGill and Roxanne Slusher.

In addition to his parents, Carl was preceded in death by his sister, Sherry McCombs.

SAYTI — Private funeral arrangements for Carl Stewart Sayti, who died Monday, June 27, 2022, were entrusted to BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.
