Anna J. Riemer Richards, 88, of Seven Fields and Gibsonia, passed away on June 28, 2022.

Born in Cabot, on June 4, 1934, she was the daughter of the late William and Catherine Reinhold Riemer.

She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas D. Richards.

She was the loving mother of Thomas D. (Carrie) Richards Jr. and Darrell E. (Carrie) Richards; the sister of the late Paul Riemer; and the dear grandmother of Russell, Wesley, Hannah and Thomas.

Anna was a commencement speaker for the Butler High School Class of 1952, and later as the mother of teenage sons, she graduated from The University of Pittsburgh.

An avid and loving mother and grandmother, she could have been a role model for June Cleaver from “Leave it to Beaver.” She was a beloved piano teacher, sang with her church choir and the Pittsburgh Concert Chorale, and provided job search coaching with a specialty in resumé building.

RICHARDS — Friends of Anna J. Riemer Richards, 88, of Seven Fields and Gibsonia, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown with the Rev. Paul Becker officiating.

Interment will follow at Bakerstown Cemetery.
