Patrick Lokhaiser struck out 11 over six innings of work and Joseph DiMartino had a double and a single to lead Center Township to a 6-5 win over Zelienople in the Butler County American Legion opener Thursday night.

Jennings Graham and Cole Campell each had two singles for Center Township.

Meridian 9, Butler City 1 — Jacob Koerner struck out 14 in a complete-game effort for Meridian. Alex Scialabba had three singles, scored three runs and stole two bases.Justin White and Nolan Lewis both had a single and two RBI.
