Marion L. Potts

Marion L. Potts, 88, of Middlesex Township, Valencia, died Monday morning at the Butler VNA Inpatient Hospice.

Born Oct. 23, 1928, in Foxburg, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Reba Elliott Klingler.

Marion enjoyed playing cards and coordinating senior mystery trips with her local friends and friends from Foxburg. An organizer, Marion also helped in coordinating care for a local man from her neighborhood, doing all the volunteer scheduling.

Surviving are her husband, Harvey Potts, who she married June 10, 1950; her daughter, Leslie (William) Hughan of Valencia; her son, Chris (Barbara) Potts of Minneapolis; her grandchildren, Eric (Holly), Kirstie, Thomas (Kristen), Gregory (Kate), Alexa and Michelle; and her great-grandchildren, Tyler, Logan, Owen, Paiton, Colby, Alana, Kasey and Addison.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Maxine Yoder.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to Debbie from the VNA for her compassionate care.

POTTS — Friends of Marion L. Potts, who died Monday, March 27, 2017, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Foxburg Methodist Church, South Palmer Street, Foxburg, with the Rev. Daniel Myers officiating.
