Twelve years is a long time in anyone’s eyes, but from my eyes it is the length of time that I have had to spend missing you, hearing your voice and seeing your smile.

Twelve years ago, Allie was only 6 years old. Now she has graduated high school and is starting her new life. You have guided her down the right path, as she had become a lovely young woman. You must be very proud.

Twelve years ago things were so much different. All of your grandchildren had to yet to be born. The many changes that have happened with us four kids - marriages, successes, and yes failures.

We know that every day you are looking down on us

and talking to us, whether we hear you or not. You are giving us words of wisdom, comfort when we need it and also harsh words when those are needed...

There are times I feel so alone and all I have to do is think of you - ask for your guidance and support and you are there for me.
