Bernadette C. Keener

Bernadette C. Keener, 85, of Butler died Friday afternoon at the Saxony Health Center.

Born July 1, 1933, in Butler, she was the daughter of Eugene and Bernadette (Turner) Schaffner.

Bernadette was a graduate of Duquesne University and attended the Sherwood Music School in Chicago.

She enjoyed singing and playing the piano and organ.

She was married to John J. Keener. He preceded her in death on Oct. 3, 2018.

Bernadette is survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband;one brother; and two sisters.

KEENER — Graveside services for Bernadette C. Keener, who died Friday, Oct. 19, 2018, will be held at 11 a.m. Mondayin St. Eusebius Cemetery with the Rev.
