Warm clothing drive plannedBundle Up Butler will be collecting new and gently used coats, hats, gloves, scarves, snow pants and snow suits at Howard Hanna Butler, 130 Bon Aire Plaza.Those wishing to donate can also contact an agent for pickup at 724-282-7903.

Butler County trunk sale setBUTLER TWP — The Butler County Parks and Recreation Department will host a community trunk sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 6 at the Masonic Shelter in Alameda Park.Those interested must register at the park office by calling 724-284-5383.

Vendor sale to be held at Vets ClubMERIDIAN — The Meridian Vets Club ladies auxiliary will host a Vendor Show ‘n’ Sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 6 at 125 Vets Club Road.Proceeds benefit troops and veterans.

Flu information, shots availableLIFE Butler County and BeHome Partners of Lutheran SeniorLife have teamed up for flu shots and information sessions at 2 p.m. Oct. 10 at Butler Library, 218 N. McKean St., and 2 p.m. Oct. 17 at Cranberry Township Library, 2525 Rochester Road.Tips on how to prevent influenza this winter will be given and flu shots will be provided.Take insurance card, as insurances will be billed by BeHome Partners.Reservations are required and can be made by calling Debbie Young at 724-287-5433.
