Norma Ann Skander
Norma Ann Skander, 80, of Seven Fields passed away on Saturday while under the care of UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.
Norma was born Nov. 3, 1936, in Pittsburgh.
She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Cranberry Township, where she participated in several activities.
She and her late husband, Rich, formerly owned and operated Skander Tire in Evans City.
In her free time, she enjoyed painting, going to the movies and going out to eat with friends and family. She will be dearly missed.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Sharon (David) Mellor of Valencia, Richard (Linda) Skander of Renfrew and Randy (Lisa) Skander of Evans City; her grandchildren, Ashley Hartung, Angela Hartung, Kaitlynn Mellor, Heidi Blum, Haley Skander and Alexander Skander; and her great-grandchildren, Codey and Skyler.
Norma was preceded in death by her husband, J. Richard Skander, who passed away on Sept. 7, 2003.
SKANDER — A celebration of life for Norma Ann Skander, who died Saturday, June 17, 2017, will be held in her honor at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 15, 2017, at Hope Lutheran Church, 8070 Rowan Road, Cranberry Township, with the Rev. Pastor Ronald Brown officiating.She will be laid to rest at Evans City Cemetery.Memorial donations may be made in Norma's honor to Hope Lutheran Church or to the Visiting Nurses Association, 154 Hindman Road, Butler, PA 16001.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Boylan Funeral Home, 116 E.
