Gary S. Frederick Sr., 61, of Blairsville, Pa., passed away Saturday at his home.

The son of James and Dorothy (Milka) Frederick, he was born Aug. 1, 1954, in Pittsburgh.

Gary loved his computer repair business.

He was active with the Blairsville Area Historical Society in historical re-enactment, was a volunteer at voting poles, enjoyed fishing and was a Steelers football fan.

Surviving are his son, Gary S. Frederick Jr. of Chesapeake, Va.; his daughter, Gabrielle J. Frederick of Pittsburgh; his stepson, Erich Bell of Blairsville; his stepdaughter, Jennifer Schoener (John) of Jeannette; his stepson, Jonathan Lindstrom of Blairsville; four grandchildren; his sister, Nancy Mills (Pat) of Butler; three brothers, James Frederick (Liz) of Wexford, David Frederick (Denise) of Renfrew and Stephen Frederick (Jamie) of Dillonvale, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
