Joseph E. Ungor
Joseph E. Ungor, 75, of Valencia passed away at 7:25 a.m. Sunday of lung cancer in the VNA Inpatient Hospice.
Joe was born on Jan. 10, 1938, in New Kensington to the late Charles Ungor and Anna T. (Lattenzio) Ungor.
Joe was a graduate of Springdale High School.
He worked for Glenshaw Glass as a forming machine operator for 40 years.
Joe was a 1740 to 1840 re-enactor who enjoyed shooting black powder guns and throwing hawk and knife, atlatl, and bow and arrow.
Joe is survived by his wife, Mary Ann (Nixon) Ungor, who he married on Aug. 18, 1958; his two sons, Joseph C. Ungor and his wife, Tanya, of Monroe, N.C., and James W. Ungor and his wife, Rebecca, of Gibsonia; his daughter, Donna Jean Sybert and her husband, Steven, of Valencia; his seven grandchildren; his great-grandchild; his three brothers, William Ungor of Brunswick, Ohio, John Ungor of California and Robert Ungor of New Kensington; his two sisters, Rose Marie Shea of Gilpin Township and Mary Jane Jendry of Allegheny County; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Charles Ungor and Louie Ungor; his sister, Margaret Ungor, and his infant sister, Susan Ungor.
