Lawrence “Larry” Sinz of Worthington passed away Monday afternoon, Nov. 29, 2021, at Butler Memorial Hospital following a period of declining health.

Born Sept. 6, 1940, in Butler, he was the son of the late Raymond C. and Rose Marie Murrin Sinz.

He was married on Sept. 7, 1975, to the former Lorraine Susan Mennor, who passed away Nov. 28, 2014.

Larry was employed for many years as supervisor of the custodial department at Butler County Courthouse, and was later employed in the security department at Butler Hospital, working a total of 53 years between these two occupations.

Surviving are a daughter, Mindy Sinz of Pittsburgh; a brother, James (Jean) Sinz of Hatfield, Va.; several nieces and nephews, and brothers and sisters-in-law; and his very special friends, Frank and Shirley McDowell of Eau Claire.

SINZ — Per his wishes, there will be no visitation or services at this time for Lawrence “Larry” Sinz, who died Monday, Nov. 29, 2021.
