George A. “Twiggy” Wick, 73, of Butler passed away Saturday, June 25, 2022.

Born on April 24, 1949, in Butler, George was the son of the late John William Wick and late Mary E. Vensel Wick.

Twiggy retired from Armco Steel, where he worked as a plant 2 roller for over 35 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and shooting, as a member of IHMSA and a life member of the NRA. He also enjoyed making handmade primitive knives.

George is survived by his wife of 54 years, Lee Ann (Kramer) Wick, whom he married on June 22, 1968; one son, Shane (Cindy) Wick of Butler; two grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Keirsten; and one great-grandchild, Finnlee.

WICK — Family and friends of George A. “Twiggy” Wick, who died Saturday, June 25, 2022, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the WILLIAM F. YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 132 Main St., West Sunbury.

Funeral Services will be held at 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Private burial will be held in West Sunbury Union Cemetery.
