David Lee Himes, 53, of West Sunbury, passed away Thursday, March 18, 2021, at his home.

David was born on June 25, 1967, in Altoona.

David was a graduate of Bellwood Antis High School.

He served his country in the U.S. Army.

He was the owner of Green Valley Nursery and Deer Tenders.

He was Catholic by faith.

David was a fun-loving person, who always had a smile on his face.

He will be sorely missed by his sidekick, Cloe; she would not let him out of her sight. Cloe was taught best by his Dalmatian, Sadie.

David is survived by his mother, Betty (Hough) Himes of Mount Pleasant; his father, Dennis R. Himes Sr. and his wife, Sue, of Altoona; one sister, Lori (Craig) Taylor of Altoona; one brother, Dennis R. Himes Jr. of Mount Pleasant; one stepbrother, Donny Carnell of Sinking Valley; three nephews; two nieces; four great-nieces; and four great-nephews.

HIMES — Visitation for David Lee Himes, who died Thursday, March 18, 2021, will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 21, 2021, at William F.
