Thomas M. Robinson

Thomas M. Robinson, 91, of Evans City passed away on Monday while under the care of the VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler.

Born Aug. 27, 1926, in Ford Cliff, he was the son of the late Thomas J. Robinson and Amy C. Rupert Robinson.

Tom served as the former chief of the Harmony VFD and was a member of Mason Lodge 429 in Harmony.

He was employed by Callery Chemical, Halstead and True Flow Fan Works in Harmony.

Tom taught wood carving. He loved to square dance, roller skate and bowl. Tom will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.

Tom leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Ruby Harter Robinson; his son, Thomas W. “Tom” (Jan) Robinson of St. Cloud, Fla.; three grandchildren, Amy (Damain) Mahanna, David Ricklick and Ken Ricklick; three great-grandchildren, Jack, Luke and Brooke; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his five siblings, Don, Gerald, Doris, Helen and Harold.

ROBINSON — Friends of Thomas M. Robinson, who died Monday, Jan. 29, 2018, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Boylan Funeral Home, 116 E. Main St., Evans City.A funeral to celebrate Tom's life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Reid Moon officiating.Tom will be laid to rest in the St. John's Burry's Church Cemetery in New Sewickley Township.Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.boylanfuneralservices.com.
