Mary E. DeFelice, 78, of Butler passed away Saturday at the Butler Memorial Hospital.

She was born June 5, 1932, in Butler, the daughter of the late Cecil and Cathryn (McCool) Christy.

Mary was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force during the Korean conflict.

She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church and the Disabled American Veterans.

She had sold Avon for 30 years.

Surviving are two daughters, Cathy Worgan and Patricia (Mark) Gibson, both of Butler; three sons, Tony (Mary) DeFelice, Steve (Diane) DeFelice and Allen Alvine, all of Butler; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Gladys Cousins of Meridian, Cathryn Hilliard of Butler and Emma Eckenrode of Callery; and two brothers, Raymond Christy of North Washington and Kenneth Christy of Butler.

She also was preceded in death by a son, Dan "Fig" DeFelice; her companion, Kenneth Worgan; and three brothers, Robert, James and Donald Christy.

<B>DEFELICE</B> — Friends of Mary E. DeFelice, who died Saturday, Aug. 21, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.
