Alfreda E. Schoch

Alfreda E. Schoch, 71, of Butler passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2021, at UPMC Shadyside Hospital.

She was born Jan. 8, 1950, in Smethport, Pa., and was the daughter of the late Wilbur and Bertha Miller.

Alfreda was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.

She loved arts, crafts, watercolor painting, and reading mystery books.

She was a day care teacher.

Surviving are her husband of 46 years, Karl A. Schoch; two daughters, Heidi (Ben) Tate of Salem, Ore., and Lisa (Trey) Roehl of Inman, S.C.; a son, Matthew (Jana) Schoch of Butler; six grandchildren; and two sisters, Ida (Pete) Bigley of Smethport, and Marge (Jack) Davis of Erie.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Carl Miller.

SCHOCH — Services for Alfreda E. Schoch, who died Tuesday, March 23, 2021, will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 11, 2021, at Zion Lutheran Church, 266 Zion Church Road, Chicora, with the Rev. Nila Cogan of the North American Lutheran Church officiating.

Interment will be held at Zion Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Young Funeral Home, Butler.
