Richard L. Perry Jr.
Richard L. Perry Jr., 54, of Tionesta, formerly of Butler, died Friday morning at the VA Butler Hospital.
He was born July 24, 1962, in Butler, the son of the late Richard L. Perry, Sr. and Ilean Grabbe Herrit of Butler, who survives.
Rick graduated from Butler Senior High School and served as a private in the U.S. Army. He worked as an over-the-road truck driver until becoming ill.
Rick was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler. He was also a member of the Fryburg Sportsman’s Club, the Titusville Loyal Order of Moose 84 and Knox American Legion Post 720, where he was also a member of the Legion Riders.
In addition to his mother, Rick is survived by two sons and one daughter, Derek R. and Darren R. Perry of Butler and Taylor Wilson of Kentucky; and one granddaughter, Willow Perry of Butler.
He also is survived by his brother, Joshua G. Herrit, and his wife, Maria, of Butler; his sister, Mindy Perry Fogel of South Carolina; and several nephews.
PERRY — There will be no public visitation for Richard L. Perry Jr., who died Friday, March 10, 2017; all services held will be private.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home of Tionesta.
